About the Lakeside Band Association
The Lakeside Band Association (LBA) is a charitable organization (501c3) which is the backbone of support for all band-related activities at Lakeside High School.
Our primary goal is to provide volunteers and resources for all of our band groups for a wide range of events, including rehearsals, parades, sports game and other performances, concerts, field trips, band camp, competitions (and more!).
Our board consists of up to 9 members, including a 5 member Executive Committee. All board members are parents/guardians of current band students; we serve on a volunteer basis because we love and support our vibrant band community. We work closely with the band directors, who are ex-officio members.
Membership in the LBA is automatic for all parents/guardians of students involved in any of our programs. As such, we love to connect with you!
How We Communicate:
Band Website: You are here! This is the central hub for all information. You can manage student/family details, pay dues, check balances, access information about classes, view the calendar, and sign up to volunteer.
The Band App: Our primary communication tool, similar to social media. It has subgroups for different ensembles and sections, including a parents' group. Customize notifications or log in as needed for updates, reminders, calendar changes, and announcements. Please download and join the app!
Email: Occasional emails from Dr. Fairchild for semester planning and detailed information.
Remind App: We use this top provide real-time updates (for example, when buses will arrive back at school after a game). All students and adults need to be in the correct Remind account for their student.
