LHS Band Ensembles
Each ensemble has its own rehearsal calendar and schedule. Some ensembles count as a sport, some are clubs, and some are classes. These varied aspects are what make each ensemble a unique and enriching activity.
concert bands
These rehearse during school but will have some extracurricular rehearsal times. Symphonic Camp is an all day rehearsal on Saturday in February for all students. Class bands perform in the Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE) and Spring Concert. Mastery Band also performs at the Yellow Daisy Festival when invited, and other classes may have extra performance opportunities if available. Class placement is on the recommendation of the Director.

These rehearse after school and are considered either a sport or a club.
