Sponsorship Drive — Help Power the Band!
Objective
The Lakeside Band Association wants your help to raise enough funding through sponsorships to support student scholarships, equipment, and other essential band activities for the 2025–2026 school year.
WHY
The Lakeside Band thrives thanks to the support of our families and local businesses. Corporate sponsorships not only help reduce out-of-pocket costs for families but also provide students with better resources and opportunities — without adding extra fundraising efforts.
We’re asking each family to secure at least one sponsor to help our program grow!
WHEN & WHERE
May and June are a good time to start securing corporate sponsorships for the 2025-2026 school year.
Parents are encouraged to reach out to their employers for sponsorship. Several companies participate in charitable giving or will match a donation.
Many small businesses throughout the area are willing to become sponsors as a way to support their community but also to advertise their goods or services.

ADDITIONAL SPONSOrSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
- Friday Night Lights Sponsor | Symphonic Level – $500 or meal donation on game nights during Football season
- Sectional Rehearsal Sponsor | Symphonic and above levels – $500+ for specific instrument groups
- Full Semester Sectional Sponsor | Director’s Circle – $3,500

HOW TO SECURE A SPONSOR

Identify a Business or Employer to Contact
- Start with your parent's employer — many companies match charitable donations or participate in corporate giving.

Think about local businesses you frequent (dentists, real estate agents, restaurants, etc.).

Reach Out

Share our sponsorship flyer or direct them to our website.

Explain the benefits of sponsoring (advertising, community engagement, tax-deductible donation).

Offer to follow up with more information or help with the donation process.

Confirm the Sponsorship

Once they agree, ask the business to:

Submit their logo to: lakesidebandassociation@gmail.com

Make their donation by July 18th (via check or online payment)

Log the Sponsorship

Enter sponsor details into the Sponsorship Google Sheet (link provided to students and parents).

We’ll Handle the Rest

Sponsor banners will be ordered by August 1st

Sponsors will receive recognition based on their donation level (see below).

Bonus for Band Families
Families who secure a corporate sponsor will receive a discount on band dues:

Symphonic Level ($500): 10% off dues (e.g., $585 instead of $650)

Valhalla Level ($1,000–$2,499): 20% off dues

Viking Circle ($2,500+): 30% off dues
Don’t need the discount? You can apply it to future trips instead!
