Thank you for donating to the Lakeside Band program and helping me become a top fundraiser! This program is so important to many of the LHS students, including me. Being in band gives us lots of opportunities to make music and be with our friends both during and after school. There are 4 in-school bands and a bunch of after-school activities we have the opportunity to join: jazz band, marching band, color guard, basketball band, winter guard, JanFest, LPGE, All-State, and district honor band, to name a few.

The Support the Sound! 2026 campaign directly supports the students of the Lakeside High School band program.  The more opportunities we are able to offer our students the more they get out of their high school music experience! The LHS band program is highly active, with a multitude of moving parts and a diverse selection of annual needs. 

With your help, we can:

  • Ensure every student can participate, regardless of finances
  • Bring in guest clinicians for personalized instruction
  • Cover fees for events like All-State, JanFest & Honor Band
  • Provide buses for off-campus performances
  • Purchase, rent, maintain or repair over 300 instruments
  • Supply sheet music, uniforms, and dry cleaning
  • Expand performances in our community, including parks, parades, and assisted living facilities

Band students can also win awesome prizes; boost their chances by adding a little extra to your donation!

 

Donations of any amount are gladly accepted and very much appreciated. Get a free Lakeside Viking Band sticker by donating $25 or more! Donors who give $75 or more will be able to sponsor a chair from the Lakeside Band Association. 

The Lakeside Band Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, EIN #26-3768746, and your donation is tax deductible. All donors will receive a receipt via email.

 

IF YOU WANT A SPECIFIC STUDENT TO RECEIVE PRIZE CREDIT FOR YOUR DONATION, PLEASE GO TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISING PAGE:

  1. Locate the team leaderboard.
  2. Click on your student's team (based on the instrument they play: winds, brass, or percussion/guard)
  3. Scroll to find your student's name
  4. Click on their "VIEW" button, which will then take you to their individual donation page
