Inman Park Parade

If you attend GLOBE or Henderson and will be going to high school in the fall of 2025, you are welcome to join us! This will allow new students to try marching band at a fun, easy event, and get everyone a leg up for the fall. The parade is Saturday, April 26, and you students will be with us from roughly 11am-4pm. They will need black athletic shorts, short socks, and low top athletic shoes (running shoes, sneakers and the like). We will provide a shirt for your student if they don't already have one, and a snack while we are there. Here's our schedule: 11:00am - Students are in the band room at Lakeside 11-12:00pm - Run through of parade music (this is our only full run through and where we place everyone in the parade block) 12:00pm - load buses and depart for Inman Park 12:40pm - arrive at park location 1:00-2:00pm - In place at parade (we have to be there early as the streets are closed off at 1pm) 2:00pm - Parade Starts 3:00pm - Parade ends, walk back to buses, have a snack 4:00pm - Estimated return to Lakeside (David Fairchild added)
